our Projects
Our projects prevent deforestation and the consequent emission of greenhouse gases. Water quality is protected from the alternative erosion and pollution by avoiding clear-cutting and burning of forest regions.
These same efforts are expected to protect the biodiversity and generate social benefits, such as the assistance to the life and culture of the traditional populations of that area.
Another important issue in this project is the discovery of scientific knowledge. The forest, although studied for a long time, still remains mostly unknown. Only by leaving the rainforest regions in a pristine condition, can we hope to extract from the forest, in a sustainable way, the secrets it offers. In this way, we enable new discoveries and life quality improvement for all mankind.
